As was customary for the Class 60s, it received its nameplates from new. 60074 was named \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eBraeriach\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, after the third-highest mountain in the British Isles.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eInitially, it was allocated to the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eTrainload Coal\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e sector, indicated by the black and yellow diamonds logo on its bodyside. Though allocated to \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eToton depot\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, it never carried the cooling towers depot plaque; instead, a small sticker under the driver’s window displayed the allocation.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDuring the shadow franchises, 60074 became part of the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eMainline\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e fleet, retaining its triple grey livery with the Mainline logo replacing the previous sector branding. This look persisted into the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eEWS\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e era, until 2005, when an EWS “Beasties” sticker was applied to the now-worn triple grey bodyside.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn a 2009 charity partnership between \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eDB Schenker\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e (the owners at the time) and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eTeenage Cancer Trust\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, 60074 was repainted in an eye-catching \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003elight blue livery\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, with underframe and buffer details picked out in white. It was unveiled on \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003e1st March 2009\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e at the National Railway Museum in York by actor \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eChris Chittell\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, and renamed \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003eTeenage Spirit\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn 2011, it was selected for refurbishment under the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003e“Super 60”\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e programme and re-emerged in early 2012 with a refreshed version of the blue livery—this time featuring \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb data-stringify-type=\"bold\"\u003ebody-coloured window frames\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.
